Vasilios founded Kiwi Clean Home in 2015 while studying at AUT, building a residential and commercial cleaning service from the ground up into one of Auckland’s trusted names.

About Vasilios

Vasilios Kostidis is the founder of Kiwi Clean Home. With a background spanning digital marketing, web development, and entrepreneurship, he takes a practical, hands-on approach to how the business is run and how it reaches clients.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in IT and Management from AUT and a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Unitec. It is a combination that gives him an unusual edge: analytical thinking paired with a genuine instinct for storytelling and communication.

How Kiwi Clean Home Started

Kiwi Clean Home started as a family venture. My mum wanted a reliable flow of clients, and while I was at university I thought: if I can put what I’m learning in digital to work and actually build something real, why not? So that’s exactly what I did.

It turned out to be one of the most grounding experiences of my career. You meet people from every walk of life: homeowners, landlords, business owners, property managers. The one thing that connects all of them is trust. When someone gives you access to their home or their workplace, that’s personal. It means something. We’ve never taken that lightly, and going the extra mile isn’t a marketing line for us. It’s just how we operate.

Over the years the business has grown beyond what I imagined when it started. We now service homes and commercial premises across Auckland, and I’m proud of the team we’ve built and the clients who keep coming back.

Background & Expertise

Outside of Kiwi Clean Home, Vasilios works across digital marketing strategy, web development, and generative AI. He has built, managed, and sold multiple e-commerce brands, and brings that entrepreneurial experience to everything he does, including how Kiwi Clean Home is marketed and run.

He holds a BCom in IT and Management from AUT alongside a BA in Acting from Unitec, and stays committed to continuous learning, recently completing Python upskilling and AWS workshops on generative AI.

Outside of Work

When he is not working, Vasilios stays active through training, flying drones, playing music, and has recently taken up windsurfing. An entrepreneur at heart, he is always looking for ways to connect digital best practices with real-world results.
